Listen to David Cook's New Single!
AOL.com has released David Cook's first new post-Idol single one day early by popular demand. It's called "Light On" and you can listen to it here. It goes on sale on iTunes on Sept. 30.
Here are the lyrics:
LIGHT ON
Never really said too much
Afraid it wouldn’t be enough
Just try to keep my spirits up
When there’s no point in grieving
Doesn’t matter anyway
Words could never make me stay
Words will never take my place
When you know I’m leaving
Try to leave a light on when I’m gone
Something I rely on to get home
One I can feel at night
A naked light, a fire to keep me warm
Try to leave a light on when I’m gone
Even in the daylight, shine on
Love it? Hate it? Tell us what you think by commenting. BTW, we hate the new look, guyliner and all, and what's with that serious look. This guy's got a gorgeous smile. But this is the picture posted on the AOL site with "Light On." After meeting and chatting with him twice since Idol ended, we know Cook is much better looking in person, especially without the makeup.
Cook's album drops in 55 days. For more David Cook news and updates, go to his official Web site.
